I came to Yakima from Shreveport, La to visit my mother for her 50th bday. We came here to celebrate. Darren is the coolest bartender ever! He really made my mother and i feel welcome! McGuires is the best ever! Love it!
Always a good time. Cricket is fun, need new darts though. The juke box has great selection. Atmosphere is legit and the staff makes great food/drinks.
I'm Irish American and I eat Irish food regularly. I went there and ordered the corned beef and cabbage. It tasted aweful and when I asked them what they used to season it with they couldn't tell me. When I asked for horseradish sauce they gave us horseradish in one plastic cup band mayonaise in another. If you are looking for a little bar to hang out at it's cool, but they are far from an Irish pub.
I haven't tried all the food, but the bar food I've tried is good! Love the nachos and mozzarella sticks.
