The food has gone way downhill and the staff has become rather unpleasant. The beer served in the bar has always and will always come from the taps half way flat due to how their system is set up. Once this was a place with good live music, a friendly staff and good food. Now it is none of these things and needs new management desperately.
I am hoping to go there this morning-service is always friendly, view is great-Dungeness Crab Benedict out of this world! Great little humble place-with great food.
My Kiwanis group meets a Spencer Lake Bar and Grill every week and are always treated well by Heather (waitress) and Larry and Kim, the owners. The view of the lake in the early morning over breakfast is not to be believed. My wife and I eat there often with friends and are always pleased with the food. Stop in have a meal or just a beer. You won't be dissapointed, and no, Larry did not ask me to write this.
Nothing like catching a nice limit of trout then having a great lunch right on the waters edge.
Good place to eat. Great views and service.
