We went there for dinner Friday night. It was very busy with a 25 min. wait but we found a table in the bar. It was enjoyable, for us, to be able to watch the kitchen and wait staff do their job as we worked and owned restaurants, in the past. I had a Patty Melt and my husband had a Reuben. The hamburger on my sandwich appeared to have been hand formed so it was moist and soft and plentiful. The food and the service were very good. Our waitress had a good personality and checked on us several times. I would definitely recommend this Hop Jack's to all.

My Family ordered onion rings and garlic fries as an appetizer. The garlic fries are very good and would recommend them if you are not worried about your breath afterwards. They were covered with fresh garlic...yum! The onion rings are decent (Bobs Burgers has the best onion rings in the area) and the serving size was small. We ordered the jalapeno burger, blue cheese burger and the cheese steak sandwich. All were cooked to perfection and very juicy and tasty. The service was good and the price on the high side for a burger. We don't drink, but they up-sell their beer selection and direct your attention to the ice covered taps (coldest beer in town)...cannot comment on the drinks but they look good. If your looking for a gourmet burger and some ambiance this is your place. If you are looking for an all around good burger on a budget ...stick with Five Guys across the parking lot (Five Guys is the best burger for the buck).

Simply put: You will NOT be disappointed! Amazing food and wonderful/friendly staff. Oh yeah, and their drink 'glasses' made of ice are just TOO COOL! (Ha, see what I did there?) Yes - Their 'martini' glasses are literally made of ice. So fun to drink from! And your beverage never gets warm! All their delicious specialty drinks get served in them. The management here really cares about the customer experience as a whole. You're not simply waited upon by a single server; no, you're treated like a VIP by the whole staff! These guys see 'serving' as a team endeavor and they make sure all of your meal and beverage needs are met! We even had the hostess stop by (long after being seated) to make sure we had everything we needed! I have nothing bad to say about this place, and look forward to eating here again, and again, and again!
