Ranch House BBQ & Steakhouse
Reviews
Ranch House catered our wedding this weekend and the entire spread was wonderful. We chose brisket and smoked chicken. Joe, our "pit-master" was fantastic. He did a pre-check with us ahead of the date and arrived and was setup and ready exactly on time. Even the potato salad was fab! The cost for everything that was included is very reasonable and we had plenty of food. I recommend them highly for any occasion that you want great food and great service right where and when you need them. Thanks Ranch House and Joe!
Very nice people. The food is delicious, comfortable atmosphere.
I went with a group of people and everyone else's food looked good, but I ordered their brisket. When the waiter first put the plat in front of me, I thought he screwed up and brought me the pulled pork, but after a second glance I noticed it was in fact beef, piled up in a sloppy mess looking nothing like any brisket serving I've ever seen. It came out quick, the meat was half cold and was awful. Their cheesy garlic fries had one big lump of garlic, but otherwise were tasty, the means emphasizes on the fries being "hand cut" if this is true than the chef has OCD because every fry was cut to the exact same width. If you go, order ANYthing other than the brisket.
Wow! Reading these reviews I am astounded! We travel by here frequently. When we can, we stop in and either eat in or, more often, take out. I have NEVER, EVER had bad food or service from these folks! Their BBQ is world-class, I speak from extensive traveling and eating a LOT of BBQ. Prices? Well, it's not fast food cheap, but it's not bad. Service? The times when we have eaten in, it was flawless. The second your plate comes, nothing else matter but THE FOOD! The ribs.... oh my GOD! The brisket, the chicken, the french fries! Now here is a warning, this place gets BUSY for a REASON, the FOOD! If you are thinking of dropping in at a busy time, you WILL be waiting for a table! All-in-all, one of our favorite places, one we proudly take our visitors too, because they are not going to get any better food ANYWHERE!
Great garlic fries, but that is not what I came for. The bbq brisket sandwich was not very good. There was little flavor and the bbq sauce available had the acidity of a mop sauce. There was just a few pieces of dry brisket on a tiny hamburger bun. The value is just not there. A tiny bbq sandwich, baked beans, garlic fries, and water cost $15. They may have won many awards on the bbq circuit and been on the Travel Channel, but I bet none of these judges had to pay for their meal. The service was friendly and good but I can't recommend this place to friends or anyone else. Unfortunately, I won't be back.
