Love their chow main and beef dishes! I didn't expect to have such good chinese food in the small town. But this place satisfies me! I hope I can revisited here more. I didn't order the sweet and sour chicken so I don't know if it tastes good or bad.
It is clean and tidy i loved the fortune cookies!
Had dinner here last Saturday. Plenty of customers there. Clean enough. Service was good. Ordered the pork with mixed vegetables and was quite pleased with quality and quantity. Came with a big bowl of perfectly steamed rice. The house tea was very good. Only complaints are that table and the lid/spoon for the hot sauce were sticky, and the booth seats were too low. Would definitely return.
Read all the good reviews, thought it would be great. Very very very bad. The sweet and sour chicken was tasteless. Even the fortune cookies came unwrapped and tasted like cardboard that's sat in the rain and then dried out over a few weeks. The waitress didn't come to our table after delivering our food (had to go find her twice). To be fair, the beef with vegetables dish was decent. I would recommend finding another restaurant if there is a good one in Forks.....
WA Food Lover- i'm sorry you got sick in Forks, if you did get sick. I've personally eaten at South North more times than i can count as i live in Forks. I've never heard of anyone getting sick on the food there. The owner is probably as close to type a OCD when it comes to cleanliness as i've ever seen and the food is always prepared properly. I honestly think that you might be mistaking South North for GoldenGate. But i seriously doubt that the food you ate at South North made you sick. Super good food... Super good service. South North is the only chinese place to eat in Forks.
