Great soups from scratch, yummy bread, delicious pizzas and salads. The café's owner, my husband's mom (full disclosure) makes good food with lots of care!:)
Nice place! Definitely worth the stop. Fresh coffee & cinnamon rolls and best coleslaw! Pizza by the slice so you can get in and out and back on the road!
we love going to the cafe. great family atmosphere indoor/outdoor seating and wonderful food and esspresso. it 's a great place to stop in and refresh yourself wether on your way through town or if your sticking around for awhile.
Great cafe! My friends and I found the Hometown Bakery Cafe this morning as we passed through Darrington. After two frigid nights at the Gorge Lake campground by Diablo, we were really hoping for a great meal. The cafe didn't fail; we all devoured our soups, salads, sandwiches, and cinnamon rolls. The service (by the couple that must own the cafe) was fine and friendly. With a couple fresh-baked baguettes tucked under arms, we made our way back to Seattle. Unfortunately, we are sad to inform the deli marts of Darrington that we no longer require their services.
The bread is yummy and th outside seating is nice
