Sagebrush Steakhouse
Reviews
I ordered the "Gunslinger," which is their larger filet. The waitress asked me if I wanted the big one and I thought that was strange. I said yes, but I wish I had ordered something else. When it came out it looked like a smash(ed) burger. It was technically steak, but it was really thin and reminded me of a Salisbury steak. Do yourself a favor and go to Graze on Main, the restaurant in the Bolling Wilson Hotel. I had a REAL filet there and it was fantastic. Sagebrush is fine for anything but steak, ironically.
steak was generously large but fatty for a ribeye. The loaded potato was good but couldve been baked a tad longer. good for price.
juicy steak, cooked to perfection. my kid's Mac n cheese was a different reception, tangy, cheesy and with white cheddar. fantastic! Taylor - nice young lady - treated us with magnificent service!
My experience wasn't so good. The food was not as was said on the menu or as described by the waitress. I ordered Prime Rib. The largest cut, supposedly 14-16 oz. Couldn't have been more than about 10 oz. My wife had fish and shrimp. The shrimp was hard and smelly. Spoiled!!! I would not go there again. The service was good, not great just good..
Here's the reason thiers negative reviews...... If you have been to a Texas Roadhouse or even a Logans Roadhouse you would know that this place just simply cuts the corners. They use to have peanuts but no longer do because of a peanut allergies??? Why not just say you wanna save money??? Their so called flat screens are the minimum of the minimum. You want music?? They will tell you to put money in the jukebox!!!!! You want sound on the TVs?? Well they will get a $5000 fine!!! The oldest excuse in the book. If they cut corners to save money with simply things like these jus think what corners they have cut in preparing your food!!!! Just to save money. The franchisie should be booted. Period. They have never put any money into this place. All they have done is take away.
