I am a local and can say that this is a great place to hit up if you are looking for a really good burger. I almost always get their Spicy Southwestern Chipotle burger. Really hits the spot. In the past I have tried other items on their menu (caesar salad, ribs, etc.) but have not been too impressed. Also, the service is a bit slow depending on how busy they are as well as the time of the day. Slower than the other restaurants in the area I should say. If those two items were fixed up I would give them 5 stars instead of 4. If you want a really good burger though, this is the place to visit.
Food wasnt to bad watch out for the pulled pork and bread ties in it. Service could have been a bit faster but overall it was ok at best
I don't know what it is about this place, but my wife and I love the tavern so very much! I guess it's just the down-home feel, the friendly wait-staff, and worn-in warmth it exudes. We enjoyed it so much we actually had our wedding there last October, so needless to say, it holds a very special place in both our hearts!
We live in Edinburg and had the worst service of all time anywhere; we wanted just a soup and salad and we gave up waiting for it. We took the order to go; enter at your own risk !
A little hole in the wall place, but really good food and drinks!
