PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING HERE! I'll start off by saying the guy in charge of this place is a total jerk (I could think of another word starting with A$$ that would do a great job of describing him). I took my family there to eat 1/22. Everything was 3 stars until the waitress who was in such a hurry to bring out our dipping sauces spilled them ALL OVER my wife and 10 month old son. I wasn't upset because accidents happen and the girl said she was sorry and she bought out some more. Upon checking out I noticed that I was charged for the dipping sauces. I nicely explained to the manager what happened and asked if he could adjust my bill by A FEW dollars (or at least take the dipping sauces off) and the guy blew his lid and yelled out to the entire restaurant that I was ridiculous to ask and he couldn't believe how stupid and ridiculous I was and stormed off while screaming to the waitress to charge me for the entire meal. WTF? Being a REAL man (unlike him) and not wanting to cause a scene I patiently paid and left. Let this serve as a warning to all others that the food sucks and is mediocre at best and if you have ANY problems with the food or service you can expect the manager to act like a whiny immature insecure infant and tell you to screw off. Never have I seen a worse act of customer service in my ENTIRE life. I will NEVER be back and will do my best to caution all others of this guy and his establishment.
My family took the long way back from an Outer Banks vacation in order to avoid bad traffic on I-64, and we just happened upon Anna's. The service was great, fast, attentive and friendly. A nice, clean, functional high chair was provided for our toddler. We ordered a house salad and a pizza. The house salad was fresh and nicely portioned. The pizza was great! We live in an area with over 20 pizza choices within 5 miles, and I can tell you that if Anna's was in that 5 mile area, they would definitely be in our top 3! For the person saying their pizza took too long, a good pizza should take about 12-20 minutes if a place is not too busy. For the person saying the sauce had no spices, you have probably become used the garbage that the big chains pass off as pizza sauce - I personally believe less is more. If you have a quality fresh dough crust, and quality mozzarella, the sauce can and should be light. Anna's has what I just described. We will go out of our way and take US 460 back from The Banks again regardless of traffic, just to eat at Anna's.
Very good food and very friendly service.
I've eaten here many times. It is a family run business with real italian_american food. Great red sauce! Really good subs on yummy bread that is crispy on the outside and chewy-perfect sub bread. Decent pizza. Love their White pizza. Casual not fancy atmosphere. Clean too. I am happy to have this italian restaurant in the neighborhood.
I thought the food sucks, I’ve been in there a few times. Each time I thought it can’t be this bad so I’ll try it again, wrong answer! Each time the food sucked and so was the service!!! It takes way too long to finally get your pizza. All I can say to people is to stay away and save your money and your time. There are plenty of other places you can eat good pizza, its every where. But NOT there Anna’s in Windsor!!!!!!! Heed my warnings people!
