I wished I never wasted my money on this place. Nothing was tasty to me. Had the crab dip and it was bland. To top it all off they served the crab dip with toasted hamburger slices :( Not impress and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I am a foodie and I know good food this place does not have good food.
Ate here while on a little vacation with my husband, so it was a bit of a random pick from other available restaurants. Best. Pick. Hands down, this was wonderful. The place is nicely decorated - it's not overdone, it's not too posh. It's nicely done, and comfortable. We were seated in short order and well taken care of by our server. Food was fantastic. The Loaded Colorado Chips were demolished pretty quickly, and the paella was excellent. I'd also highly recommend the sangria. I fully intend to make a point of coming here again whenever we're in the area!
I loved the experience at The Cove Tavern. I grew up in Williamsburg and my friend from out of town brought me here for lunch. What a great find. The atmosphere and food were very nice.
the reviews from last year are for the Backfin which was the establishment taken over by The Cove. This is a wonderful place with the best and most affordable food around. Best bartenders and you MUST have any of the Cabo tacos. To die for. Love it that we have this perfect neighborhood restaurant and bar.
