Carrot Tree Kitchens

I have had lunch often at The Carrot Tree and enjoyed every meal. The service is excellent. My favorites are the quiche, the Brunswick stew, the hummus and fresh vegetables, and the tomato basil soup. Enjoy!
I applaud the efforts of this brave entrepreneurial family that are defying a government shutdown to provide jobs and gainful employment to their staff. I hope that the local community will come out and support them and let the folks know inside and outside the beltway that Freedom and the ability to determine your own destiny is what has made our country great. The government needs to get out of the way of the private sector and not regulate us. Thanks for your bravery and courage. Our forefathers fought for your freedom to take these actions. Stand up and support this restaurant!
I'm an 80-year-old Pennsylvanian who spent his recent birthday in Williamsburg. I had two lunches at Carrot Tree Kitchens and enjoyed both of them. At the first lunch, I ordered my birthday cake; at the second one, I picked it up. My guests only ate half of the cake (I ordered a larger one in case I had more people show up), and I brought the remaining half back to Pennsylvania with me and kept it in the fridge in Ziploc bags.Three weeks later, I was just finishing up the cake! It kept very well and was still moist and delicious. If you need a cake for a party in Tidewater, Virginia, I highly recommend Carrot Tree Kitchens ... and have lunch while you're there!
Totally awesome food and service. A must do for anyone who loves great eating!
We're with you, Glenn Helseth, as you make your stand against the Tyrannical Government! If I was near there, I'd be standing with you side by side!
