These donuts are DIFFERENT. Don't get me wrong: I'm a North Caroleen-yan, and I love my Krispy Kreme. (They say Elvis always shows up in Raleigh when they light the "Hot Donuts Now" sign.) S&B donuts are light and fluffy on the inside, with a slight crunch when you bite into them. The coffee is excellent, too. We treat ourselves to S&B donuts on yard-sale Saturday mornings, or sneak away from our responsibilities during the week to stand in line for these beauties. If you like a quick side trip to small places, don't miss S&B. The prices will remind you of your childhood.
