The four of us were glad we went here. Good coffee, both decaf and regular. Good Iced tea sweetened and non-sweetened. The side salads were small but sufficient with the pieces cut small. Off the menu we had lunch items being a little after lunch time. Amy was our server and we must say she could train waitresses how to do their jobs. Leave her a good tip to keep her there. One in our party ate a fish sandwich which was a regular codfish filet and as a sandwich it was just right and she said it hit the spot. The other meals were 2 hot dogs, a cheese burger, and a Mountain High 10 oz beef patty or a chopped beef. It came served on mashed potatoes and was topped with cooked onions and mushrooms. We all had sides, some included and some ordered extra. The french fries were nice and plump and were $1 and was plenty, the pinto beans were rated as very good as all the other sides were and for the low amount charged we rated it great. The food was good but we will stop there for the coffee. Also on Thursday they offer all you can eat pizza at the buffet with a modest salad bar as well. We passed on the pizza but a half dozen late lunch patrons were enjoying the various pizza flavors. The people working there care about how you are treated. The restrooms were clean. It's a little bit of a drive off 311 in New Castle ( a few miles) out on 615 or Craigs Creek road but with the beautiful scenery you can't lose going to the Pine Top Restaurant.
