On Mother's Day 05/11/14 seven family members and I went to this restaurant. I ordered fish bites and coconut shrimp for Appetizers which were good. I ordered the crab cake sandwich meal for my main course. When the crab cake came out it was soaked in oil and had crabmeat laid on top. I was lair to taste it based on the look of it. But I tried on fork full and determined it was not to my liking. I immediately told my waitress and as her if I could send this back and get more coconut shrimp instead. While I was waiting my cousin also stated his crab cake was tasteful either. The waitress returned with my food in a takeout box and told me I had to pay for this meal before I could order anything else. I said I have to pay for something that was not tasteful, she replied “yes”. I asked to speak to the person in charge which happens to be the owner. He said pay for it or I will call the sheriff. I replied “call the sheriff” I haven’t done anything wrong and I have never heard that you have to pay for something you didn’t eat. I was informed that I had to pay for the crab cake if it is on my bill but I can take him to small claims court.

My wife and I haven eaten at this restaurant twice a year for several years and have always found the luncheon specials great values, the food very good, and the service excellent and friendly. This place is a great place to relax. We will be back.
My wife and I often go here for lunch and dinner. The food is basic, but good, and the staff are always very pleasant. The menu has a variety of options, and the service is usually pretty quick.
Food was good, alittle small though. Service was excellent and friendly. We also got our food very fast although it was 2pm
