TBB had very friendly service, awesome food and dog friendly... nuff said!
We had a terrible experience. It took over an hour to get food service even though only about 6 tables were seated and maybe two out on the board walk. The food was terrible. The flour tortilla for the quesadilla was stale and the steak in it was full of gristle. We could see the woman who was cooking in the kitchen eating while she cooked (we had a perfect view through the serving opening to the kitchen from our table). The kids food was stale and greasy. The server didn't come to check on our drinks or offer to refill, we had to track her down to get service. Our server, who was also the bartender, was rude and wouldn't give us change for a dollar to use at the parking meters when we left. She said it was their policy not to give change even though we needed to move our car from their parking lot once we finished lunch. She suggested we walk up to the 7-11 a few blocks away to try to get change. All in all it was a very bad experience. I wouldn't go back again. Unfortunately they are one of the only places to eat on the water at CB. Very disappointing.
Great atmosphere. Great food. Great services. Don't listen the negative reviews. Highly recommend this place.
Food was ok, you're paying for the river view, that's it. Staff would do well to remember that customers are a good thing, saw several staff obviously annoyed when folks arrived. Won't be going back.
I wanted to drop a quick note to tell you that Colonial HOG #1381 from Colonial Harley-Davidson in Prince George VA (the other side of Richmond) had a fantastic time. The ride was a blast and your place was great. The service and food was spot on. One problem and it was quickly handled so no big deal - it will happen with a party of 23... We will put High Tides on our list of regular places to go... Good job High Tides...
