Eastville Inn
Reviews
I eat lunch at the Eastville Inn about once a month and we had our company Christmas party there last Christmas. I had the pleasure of arranging the event with Chef Schmidt who made so many fine dishes available as appetizers and, oh, the dinner. We all ordered off the menu, and everyone was very pleased. The food is like eating at your amazing gourmet cook friend's house. There is a mascarpone polenta dish with garlic, spinach, tomatoes that is worth the trip every time (it can be a side dish or a meal). The soups are always unusual and incredible; steaks are perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly and perfectly to order. The menu has a lot of fresh vegetables and salads and if I lived just a little closer, I'm sure I would eat there every day. Because it is planted in a rural area, be sure to call to make sure they are open for when you'd like to go, especially in the winter. It's worth planning around.
World class food at reasonable prices!
Real surprise and a delight! Worth a side trip for delicious crab cakes, home made pasta, etc. Well be back!
