Road Island Diner
Reviews
Our family came up while visiting Park City. We all liked the food and atmosphere. All the food is made from scratch and the owner is very picky about the food served. We had 9 in our group and the wait for the food was normal. If your looking for a nice drive and a different place to eat, I would recommend it. It's not a Ruth Chris or a fancy restaurant. It's a diner. Loved how they have kept it close to original as they can even with juke boxes at every table.
Love this place! New owner offering amazing food. Worth the trip!
Okay all you tailgaters, take a deep breath and step back in time. If you are in your usual panic you will hate this place. If you can slow down, enjoy conversation, take in a visual feast, and then take delight in people watching, you will love this place! And if you allow yourself to enjoy, you will be thinking about it all week, eager to plan another getaway there. The food is all good and fresh and fun and well priced. This is the"off the beaten track" place you've been looking for. It is Ruth's Diner 30 years ago. Take a step back -- I dare you! My experience? 10 out of 10.
I had the pleasure to dine at Road Island Diner in Sept. I was there during the evening and found my server was quite busy and alone serving a group of kids as well as the regular dining area. I have never seen a server move like that before. The food was worth the wait and fit to the diner experience. What most do not realize is a diner setting was not based off of how fast food was served. It was a place to enjoy and marvel of it's history. This diner does have quite a bit of history. I will say that all in all it is an experience that I will do again when in town.
Just reopened with incredible menu. Offering gluten-free too!
