Tazas Cafe

Terrible Service; over-priced mediocre food! I just don't understand the dynamics of this place. I gave Tazas Café three chances to get their act together. For my first two visits, I pre-ordered and pre-paid for items to pick up the following morning. They advertise as being open for business at 6:30 am. BEWARE that this is false information! I arrived both mornings ready to pick up my pre-paid items only to be informed and scolded by the staff and owner that it takes 1-2 hours for their oven to warm up and be ready for the day's baking of items. Also both times I arrived there were other patrons waiting for food and beverages that were not ready. My third visit was before lunch time and again, this place had a preparation issue of some sort. I've owned businesses in the past and yes I've not been a restaurant owner but when you own a small business, the customers are your livelihood. It is your responsibility to be prepared, provide what you advertise, and lastly treat all patrons with respect and gratitude for their patronage. If you know it takes a while for your kitchen to be ready, then get yourself to work at the hours it takes to be ready at opening. Stick with Starbucks or your local taco place because on top of these other issues, the food and pastries at Tazas Café are not worth the money spent and at best are mediocre in quality. Sorry, I gave this place three fair chances...
ver y nice place
Delicious beverages, top notch food selections and yummy pastries makes Tazas a favorite hangout. And of course, we love Ray!
Good food, coffee, and hookah, but TERRIBLE service! After waiting 20 minutes for my sandwich, I went up to the owner's wife who took my order and asked her how much longer for the sandwich. She gave me a blank stare and finally realized, yes, I did order and pay for a sandwich. You even have to pay for TAP water, which I gladly paid and never received. This is a usual occurrence here at Tazas. I don't think it's worth tipping them or even coming back.
