Real tex-mex. Reasonable prices. Happy and helpful staff. Family owned. All they need is some local craft beer on tap! I recommend this place to tourists constantly. Try the combination plates and the little street tacos rock!
Possibly the best full service Mexican breakfast I have had in the U.S. Breakfast is served until 2pm. Worth going out of your way for! I will be back next time I am within 30-45 minutes of Sandra's Cantina.
"Voted worst margaritas in Texas!!!" Judge that one for yourself if you feel so inclined. We had breakfast: chorizo and egg plate, and egg enchiladas. Both were OUTSTANDING. Full bar. Family friendly. Polite, attentive, friendly service.
Service, taste, freshness, and didn't turn us away when we walked in Sunday night 5 minutes before closing. Always great service, food and drinks.
I've found myself craving this place lately! Really, really good Mexican food. Fresh, prepared when ordered, beautiful, colorful, flavorful, warm dishes. Very nice, smiling servers and Sandra, herself, cooked our last meals! Make sure to try what we dub as "psycho sauce"- a spicy orange salsa to dip your chips in. We are addicted to it! Oh, and two margaritas will put you under the table! Low prices and we always take some home. Our favorites are the carne guisada, (soo tender!) fajitas albanil (bacon, mushrooms, avocado!), enchiladas verdes (tangy tomatillo!), beef nachos with fried egg (breakfast!).
