Food was fair quality but overpriced. App, 2 meals, and 2 drinks $55. Asked for crackers and butter - never brought out. Got our salads after main course was served. One refill on drinks. Had to ask hostess for check. I would NOT recommend this restaurtant to anyone.
Growing up in Port Lavaca I've went to the restaurant since I was very young. In highschool I moved with family to Houston and in the past 8 years visiting back home we've made trips back down to Seadrift and the food is still great! I recommend the stuffed jalapenos! I have yet to find a resturant ANYWHERE that has stuffed jalapenos better than Barketts!
I only got a salad which was 3.99 consisted of lettuce and dressing. Service was horrible had to get our own water did not check by once. Lucky had butter from crackers because baked potato was dry nothing on it.
Good fare, Good service. Regulars treated like family. I go back as a regular.
