Starbucks

Drinks are awesome and I love how it's so close to my school! Staff is usually nice, and I only had like 1 unsatisfied experience there. Sometimes the line in the morning can be a real problem, since you can get into the drive-thru 2 ways, and when it's real long and you want to get out, there's a one-way zone which makes it really hard to get out, but other than that, this place is pretty nice. The outdoor seating is great in the perfect weather conditions, and it smells so delicious in there! I go there every morning in the fall and winter, and they work really hard on making the perfect coffee for you, so you should give them a tip once in a while. Butter croissants sound very plain, but they are DELICIOUS! If you're a drive-thru person, 4 stars. If you're a dine in person, 5 stars.
This Starbucks always has a super long line because of the staff. When you drive up to the window they are normally standing there talking. It doesn't appear that they have enough people working. It takes 30 minutes to get through the line. On top of the SLOW service they are out of something EVERY time we go. They have been out of splenda twice and today they were out of Venti cold drink cups - meaning we couldn't even get the drinks we wanted. We gave this location several chances but doesn't meet the standards that we are used to at our Round Rock locations.
Two years ago when I was living in San Antonio, I loved coming to this starbucks to work in the evenings. It looks like the old management has moved onto bigger and better things...the latest round of hiring has brought in several employees who are slow and have terrible attitudes. The bad employees are thankfully still in the minority, but it makes me sad to see my favorite Starbucks now employing baristas who are perfectly happy displaying their bad attitude in front of customers and standing around talking about partying rather than worry about the cleanliness of their store or the quality of their product. If you are looking for a Starbucks with an upbeat and friendly atmosphere where they put in some real effort to get your drink right, I'm sad to say that this is no longer a place where you can find that. I really hope they find a new manager who can pull it back together.
Its pretty bad when they have to make your coffee 3 different times and still get a substandard product and its especially bad when the guy making it acts as if I should be content spendiing $9.00 for 2 talls that taste bad. Clearly the barista making my drinks had no idea how to make coffee as he fumbled through the process. Im from seattle so I expect more from statbucks... will not return to this location!
I have had good experiences at this place. I order caffe americano and, when in season, the spiced pumpkin latte. Love it.
