Had lunch and dinner here a few times during the past year. The fried shimp is good and they give you a LOT of them. The buffett is not all that, in my opinion. Stuffed crab are good too. They need to clean the floors and tables more. It was pretty nasty, even when we went in for lunch on a Monday. Flies too buzzing around. If I had to compare them to another seafood restaurant, Barkett's in Seadrift would be comparable.
Our family vacations here in Port O'Connor almost yearly, and every time we come here, we go to Cathy's. The food is excellent!
Cathy's is very good indeed. Mountains of shrimp right off the boat. Doesn't get any better. Salad bar could use some work but I didn't come here for salad. The ambiance is Early Linoluem Chic and the the locals are entertaining to look at. Hello Joe and Vera.
