Our first impression was already bad from our waitress' attitude. When we asked what the specials were, she just rattled them off quickly and walked away before we could ask any questions. She took our order, she wasn't especially rude, her attitude was just indifferent. She brought out our food and asked if we needed anything else, which was nice, but apparently that prompted her to ignore us until she came to pick up our trash. I got the turkey sandwich with avocado. The avocado was spongy and disgusting, and I had to take it off my sandwich. After another bite I could taste the turkey was a bit sour, and I couldn't eat anymore. I let the waitress know, and she asked if I wanted her to take it off my bill. I didnt expect to have to pay for spoiled food, and left that to her discretion. She didn't ask if she could get me anything else, she grabbed the plate and walked off. After about ten minutes of us being finished and not being able to get her attention, despite there only being one other guy in the restaurant, she brought us our check. She told us that the avocado was fresh, but it was frozen. How can it be both fresh and frozen? When she came back with the check, my turkey sandwich was still on the bill. Customers should not be expected to pay for poorly prepared food, especially when the wait staff brings up the idea of removing it from the bill. She just sort of loomed over us while we counted out our money, and we tipped and left. She did wish us a good day, and the one bright side was their fries were pretty good. I would still never go back.
