Appalled. Called in my order, the young lady who answered the called acted as if I was seriously inconveniencing her. She didn't know the menu! So when I asked for a chef's salad she charged me, but instead gave me what they called a "tossed salad." It took a second called and more rude behavior to understand that there is no such thing at their establishment. I had also ordered their zucchini fries, those were thin and mainly grease. At least the Dr. Pepper tasted like a Dr. Pepper. In all, terrible service and quality befitting that of a run down fast food joint. Not at all the restaurant quality I was expecting. Never going back.
Kirbyville Jennys Fried Chicken, is the best place in town to eat. The wait is sometimes long, but it is very much worth it. I think they should expand and have two more Registers. And maybe even add more to the menu. Their new closing hours are crazy, i be hungry on Sundays but they have started closing at 4, so therefore i go have to go to nasty ol' sonic They should do better in that Category. Other than that Everyone should stop by Jennys. they are so riendly and you'll feel loved lol.
My family and I Love to eat at this restaurant!! The food is GREAT and I would recommend eating there. I only have one complaint. I have the impression that the lady taking the orders hates her job and could care less if anyone eats there. If not for that I would rate it a 5 Star resturant.
I wish they would ship to Arizona. There is not one thing on the menu that isn't good. I was in Kirbyville for 4 day and eat there or got some food from there everyday. YUM!
I have been a satisfied customer of Jennn's for many years. I reccomend the chicken strip basket with a baked potato! It includes Texas toast with cream gravy and a drink. Yummy!!!
