great atmosphere, made me miss europe. food is made from scratched and served hot. great service and food.
Great atmosphere with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Everything we tried was fantastic!!!! ( the salad, breads, shepherds pie, shrimp scampi, coconut pie, and cobbler. I wish we lived closer (we are 4 hours west). We will definitely make a trip to Jefferson at least once a year to eat here. We can't wait to bring our friends next time.
Every time we eat here is a treat for us. It is a cozy restaurant with an air of the old world. We occasionally have lunch here. David usually has meatloaf or lasagna and I will most of the time have a cup of home made tomato-basil soup and the Pilgrim sandwich. Don't forget to leave room for desert because that is the best part of the Bistro.
The restaurant is ok I guess but you cannot count on these people for catering!!!!! They were unaccommodating and frankly downright rude! It went from "oh yeah we'll make whatever you want, just send us the recipes" to "no, we will absolutely not make any of your recipes" and then they cancelled 5 weeks before my wedding! Another big Jefferson disappointment!
It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon 30 minutes after their regular closing time and they took our party for service. THEY WE'RE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ASSISTED WITH SELECTIONS FROM THE MENU. The food was fabulous. The I would recommend to all who would like great Italian, French great service and a quaint setting. The Check it out!
