Great food. The corn nuggets was a large portion but I burned my mouth in the first bite. Nothing like hot cream corn scalding the roof of your mouth, but that was my fault. Duck to the ranch dressing for doing sauce as the honey mustard was odd when paired with them. I had the lumberjack on toast which was great. Wife had the chicken fried steak blue plate special as the other standard serving was over twice as much steak. She found the smaller portion filling when combined with baked potato. Sweet tea was sweeter than I usually care for. Overall, great food with a great price too.
Ordered prim rib, salad and fries with a Draft beer. Pretty expensive considering almost finished my warmer than room temperature salad before receiving my Draft beer in a warm mug. not sure what's happening with French fries these days but getting them lukewarm at best is a non starter. The steak was pretty average.
Went for a family get together on new years eve day. The waitress got all of our orders wrong. We specifically all ordered Platters, and were all brought Blue Plate Specials. The chicken fried steak was thinner than a slice of lunch meat under the breading. It was cool and hard (the breading). The onion rings were cold and hard, with a heavy greasy texture. The cheesy fries were loaded which they weren't suppose to be, but they were good, the nacho's were good but only enough for each of us to have three (we were a family of three). We came home and ate as we were still hungry. The food and service were dismal. We are native to Hood County and have been going to Montana's since they opened, but haven't been in the last few years, as we don't get out much any more. We wont be returning, and wont be recommending.
Portions are Texas sized. Consistent quality. Big glasses of tea. Go there hungry!!!
Food wasn't all that good.. Very greasy and the steaks were half fat. Probably won't go back
