Looks like a nice place. Too bad the service is Horrible. My step-father had called in an order at 9:45 for 4 ham sandwiches. He stated specifically that we needed to have them ready at 10:30. We arrived at the drugstore at 10:30 to pick up our order, heading out of town on a tight time schedule. There was only one other customer in the store. Our order was not ready. In fact, they hadn't even started making the sandwiches yet. When asked, the snotty girl behind the counter stated they had other orders come in. Seriously? We walked in and she and her coworkers were gossipping in the back, not even working. To top it all off. We were in a rush, we grabbed the bag and left. Turns out, they didn't put 4 sandwiches in the bag, they just put two. And they charged us $36 for this!! I feel bad giving any establishment a 1 on their rating, but the service was horrible. And I called the manager and told him as much.
The only dining you'll find between 10am to Noon in this small town. The home cookin style menu is accompanied by malts, sweets, snacks, and trinkets for sale at this general store. The service, however friendly, moves at a painfully slow pace.
In several visits over the course of a year, I have never been greeted or served in a timely manner. Today, after waiting 15 minutes, we just left. The food is not with the wait (the ice cream is, tho). For a restaurant that's generally busy, it would not hurt them to hire extra wait and kitchen staff.
