Mi Familia

The Super Mexican Dinner is not worth the amount I paid. The salsa isn't something to write home about. The beer is cold, cocktails are stout. The workers are friendly and attentive.

so good! they serve up dessert tacos with chocolate marsh mellows for 99cents but only on Fridays.

Bland beyond measure. Much better Mexican places nearby. Tastes like tv-dinner. No spice or heat whatsoever in the salsa.

Our favorite Mexican Restaurant in Brownwood/Early area.

Want to be treated to the best service and Mexican food around? Visit Mi Familia for a great dining experience, lunch or dinner. For those who like, there is a full bar separate from the dining area, as well as patio dining if weather is good. Top-notch chips and salsa start every meal - and there's no salsa better in my opinion. One of my favorite meals is the chicken enchilada dinner. Their fajitas are great, too! Since they re-opened in fall 2008, they've been swamped so be prepared for a wait even after being seated. One thing to mention is that their new furniture leaves a lot to be desired - it's a bit uncomfortable and makes loud noises when scooting chairs. The decor in the place is neat and very south-of-the-border. If you get a chance, visit with the owners and management - you'll find they are friendly and happy to see you.
