We had a nice experience. The lady who served us was very friendly and nice. We were a pain, and had to ask for our table to be changed and she had no trouble and was very accommodating. The food was good we had the chicken bites appetizers, the fries and chicken strips, Turkey sandwich with tomato soup and all American burger with onion rings. Everything just how we ordered. The strips were small compared to the picture, and the American burger was a bit tasteless, and the onion rings were large and crispy but expensive for the amount they give you.
Leeann & Rena are always great! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!!! They are the reason I go to this location. I live in Austin but when I come to Cove to visit I always eat there hoping to see them (not in a weird way though) The food always saves my pregnancy cravings no matter what I am craving at the time.
Food is decent but the service is hit or miss. If you get a good waiter they make sure to take care of you and correct any mix ups if there are any. But at least once a month we have gotten some one who takes our order, delivers the food and disappears to cater to larger groups or those getting drunk at the bar.. Management has apologized several times but still an ongoing issue.
Ordered the sizzling shrimp and chicken dish with potatoes. Horribly greasy AND I found a hair in my food. I didn't have to pay for it, but that was enough to prevent a return to that particular restaurant.
wait staff is rude. I went there today and it was not packed at ALL. It took over 20 mins for my order to be taken, had to flag down wait staff
