I am Sicilian on my mama's side, plus I spent many years with the army in Europe, and traveled to both Italy and Sicily many times, so I know a good Italian restaurant when I visit one....this place is awesome! No pretentious, trendy, artsy-fartsiness here....just a really nice, friendly, nostalgic atmosphere with authentic, old world, top notch Italian food...AND THE DESSERTS....WOW! I can't wait to haul another load of steel to Meadow Burke right down the street from this place, just so I can try something else on their menu!

This is not Olive Garden or Zio's. This is the real deal! A casual family restaurant that has the feel and flavor of homestyle Italian cooking. The sauce is AMAZING! Large portions. It is like the Dante's have opened the door to their home and you are their guest. Great dessert selection too!
I'm glad I'm not the only that hated the food. It was quite gross my spaghetti had about a cup full of water in the bottom of the bowl. the bread was quite nasty, but the tea was yummy and sweet! I wound up not eating very much of my food and my husband wound up paying about as much as we would for a full dinner at another (dinner casual) restaurant, but a very causal restaurant. I was very disappointed for always seeing the parking lot so full. Major let down for me and my husband. We tried and I myself will not be going back.
