I will start by saying I'm so impressed with the food... I will follow with, I'm very hard to please when it comes to dining out. We are camping on Crystal Beach and we came here to grab a bite and watch the game not knowing the wonderful yummies that awaited! The owners are a sweet couple who take pride in their establishment, primarily their menu. They recommended an off the menu item, shrimp and grits... Let me tell you, I'm a shrimp and grits expert... Or I THOUGHT I was. This dish blew my damn mind on every level. The presentation, smell, taste... 5 stars! I also had the seafood gumbo which I usually don't prefer over chicken and sausage (I compromised with the girlfriend this time). It too gets 5 stars! The crab meat was so succulent and clean, the consistency was perfect! I'm from southern Louisiana so you can imagine how much of a gumbo snob I was bred to be. Bottom line, if you are in Crystal Beach you MUST visit this establishment!
Excellent place to stop and grab a bite to eat! Very good food and friendly 'family owned' atmosphere. The Crimp burger is amazing and be ready for two pounds of bacon on your BLT. Another plus, the bloody Marys are hand made, not premix.
HORRIBLE! Don't not come. Food was cold. The management start a lie saying famous was going to be there, which there wasn't. Then a extremely rude lady got on the loud speaker and disrespected everyone in the restaurant. Go somewhere else.
the staff have terrible attitude
Wait staff had a horrible attitude. Acted like we were burdening them by being there. Not just our waiter but several that we observed including management treating people like crap. I expect more for my money. Btw we will visit the bar under stingaree next time we want an easy meal and drinks. BUT in all fairness the tiki bar's food was very good. Just not worth the attitude
