Great place off the beaten path. Food and cold beer. Outdoor seating to watch boats pass by right on the water.
Remote, hard to find, but worth a stop. Good food, friendly staff, colorful location. About as far from the Kemah Boardwalk as you can get (geographically and culturally) and still be on Galveston Bay, and that's a good thing. We had a hard time finding this place; the directions we were given were slightly off, and we had to ride around a bit to locate it. (Google Maps showed it at the north end of Jackson Drive; it is at the south end.) The faded sign hardly inspires confidence. But the cheeseburger I had was excellent, and my friends enjoyed the fried seafood baskets. The place has a nice deck that backs on the channel. I'd be happy to go back sometime.
