This place is EASILY one of my favorite places since being in Franklin. MUST TRY IT!! I've had the Chicken Salad Sandwich: delicious flavors but a little too much mayo (in my opinion, everyone is different) but I would HIGHLY recommend it on wheat if you are a chix salad lover. I've also had the Chicken Quesedilla: Good flavors, but I've had better... Lastly, I had breakfast with 2 eggs over medium (which was cooked to perfection) and wheat toast. Prices are REALLY good for the handmade quality you are getting. Plus staff is ALWAYS super nice and helpful. The things I've tried are just a small sampling of what Merridee's has to offer and I look forward to trying the other dishes!
We had received a recommendation to go to a different restaurant but when we saw their menu we took a pass...we looked down the street, saw Merridee's and decided to try them....ding ding ding, we have a winner. Food was great, pie was especially good, we bought bread and coffee to take home to Illinois. Will recommend to anyone going to Franklin....great spot.
Great food, amazing deserts, the best coffee I've ever had
My brother in law did electrical work on this cafe. It has the best fruit tea and chicken salad around! Has a charming feel to it. Was actually bought and kept name in memory of Merridee who died. Go read the story. Its on the wall with other antiques. The couple who own it are so sweet. Young people work the restaurant. Going back again soon....looooove it!!!!
