Logan's Roadhouse
Reviews
I just recently moved to Franklin. My boyfriend and I actually won four $25 gift cards to Logan's back at Christmas in our hometown. Needless to say, within the month and a half that we have lived here, we have eaten at Logan's every chance we've had. Never a bad experience! Great food, great service, wonderful atmosphere - never a problem being seated! We have become obsessed with their fried pickles and roadhouse ranch!
I would rate it less that 1 if I could. Believe what the others here are saying. I arrived at 11, and was seated promptly. Server was good and accommodating, not pushy. My husband and I each ordered the Logan steak. Mine with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. Both steaks were to be medium. When they arrived both steaks were undercooked, a definite medium rare and very bloody. They took them back and threw them on the grill longer. What came back was then chewy and grainy and I was full on sides by then. So I only ate a portion of it and decided to take the rest home for later. About 2 hours later I began feeling ill and started vomiting. This went on for several hours. I called the restaurant and spoke to someone who said he was the manager named Kelly. I told him what happened. He was very unsympathetic and defensive saying it takes 48 hours for food poisoning to appear. I have a degree in nursing and know different. Food poisoning can appear as quickly as 1 hour, or as long as 10 days depending on the type. I know what I ate that day, and can clearly point to this food at this restaurant as the source. So, while the service was good, I will not be eating there again, and would not recommend it to anyone.
This is my 5th visit to this location in Franklin. The first was very good and it has been downhill since then. I keep giving them a chance to give me a steak like the first time but no luck. Either they under-cook it or over-cook it. Never except for the first time have they done it right. Also the manager or whoever tells them how to cut the Romaine for the Caesar salad needs to learn that you throw our the dark green tops and NEVER use them in the salad. It is the WORST salad In my 50 years.THE WORST. The management needs to be changed to people that know how to cook and run a restaurant. These people have no clue and we the customers are paying for it. VERY VERY POOR!!!!
Poor. That is the rating it deserves. I wish I could give it no stars. I went there and ordered grilled chicken. Nothing fancy! The chicken I recieved tasted like it had been dipped in bleach. I said it was disgusting and they made me another chicken breast with a different sauce. Again, the chicken came out tasting like bleach. Do not trust this restaurant. Food poisoning ready to happen! Beyond that, I have eaten food there that didn't taste like bleach, but it didn't taste much better! And who wants to walk on peanut shells?? I like clean restaurants. I mean if you want a good steakhouse, go to Outback. Sure it is more expensive, but it is clean and delicious.
Service was great! Great rolls too!
