Their Indain Taco didn't taste like an Indian taco. Wasn't even close to an Indian taco. The fry bread looked like a honey bun donut and whatever the meat was didn't taste like beef. The worse meal we ever had while traveling through Murdo. The waitress didn't even check on us to see if everything was ok or didn't even ask if we need some more drinks. All she did was serve us and then talk on her cell phone. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Mite as well have Subway at the truck stop.

We visited during the Sturgis bike rally (Sturgis is about a hundred miles west of Murdo.) This restaurant was totally unprepared. We stopped in mid-afternoon, and by then they had run out of most everything. We finished off their store of french fries. There were no french fries to be had after we got ours. They didn't have taco meat, they didn't have tuna, they didn't have STRAWS. Who runs out of straws? We overheard the waitresses talking about adding more water to the soup that had already been there "a few days." My Philly Cheesesteak sandwich had no cheese and was as dry as the Mohave Desert. The patty melt that supposedly had cheese and onions on it didn't have onions and we're not sure what the "cheese" actually was. The napkin that was wrapped around the silverware looked like it had ketchup on it already from somewhere else. There aren't a lot of eating choices in the middle of nowhere and I think we dodged a gastronomical bullet that day.

We knew better due to past experience years ago, but wanted to give this place a try again. We stay in Murdo every year for a month with several employees. We attempted to have supper last night. We had an excellent waitress, however she came back from the kitchen several times to tell us they were out of it. Only about 25℅ of the menu was available. It's very unfortunate but this place only exists due to travelers stopping by. For good food in Murdo drive north another block to the drive in. They have excellent food and large servings of ice cream. I would much rather give the drive in all of our business.

Stopped in at 8:30 PM only to be told the menu was essentially trash since the kitchen wasn't preparing most of the food on the menu because it was too close to their closing time of 10 PM. Additionally, the waiter with the blondish goatee was extremely rude and didn't seem to like being a waiter very much. The adjoining car show shop was neat and the employees on that side of the building were very nice and interesting.

Awful. Slow, inattentive service. Hash browns were raw. Bacon tasted like greased jersey. Toast was undercooked. Eggs were flavorless. (How can you mess up an egg!?). The poor guy next to us said he'd waited 45 minutes, for an order of biscuits and gravy. Don't waste your time.
