BY FAR the best baked goods!! I'm so happy you opened your Aiken location, we needed you here! Such friendly, patient staff and shockingly low prices. (You know you can get easily double what you charge, right?!) Can't wait to go back and see what's new.

I ate here for lunch today with my parents. We had high hopes but were somewhat let down. They do not serve soda, just iced tea, lemonade and coffee. They forgot to give us the side orders to our meals, so we had to go back to the counter to ask for them. I had a grilled cheese with tomato. The bread was more toasted than grilled and the cheese was not melted at all. Tasted alright, but a little bland. My dad and a ham and cheese sandwich and potato salad. There was quite a bit of ham, and he felt it was great quality ham, but they forgot the cheese and the bread was very dry and crumbly. My stepmom had the sweet bologna and cheese sandwich and potato salad and enjoyed it well enough. They both thought the potato salad was somewhat bland, but edible. We also thought the prices were a big high for just sandwiches. We didn't try any of the bakery selections, but they did look rather delicious. They had a variety of donuts, cinnamon buns, cakes, cupcakes, brownies, bars, etc. They also had a rack by the door where they sold brandes sauces, jellies, etc. We didn't purchase any, but it was nice to know if you found a salad dressing or sandwich spread that you enjoyed that it would be available for purchase. We are hoping that they are still working out the kinks of a new business and will improve! We'll probably stop back in to try some of the baked goods one day, but will probably pass on the sandwiches unless improvements are made.

Quite simply, the best pastries and sandwiches that I have ever had in Aiken County. If the restaurant was closer to my home, I would eat there everyday.

Apple fritters.

This bakery made my wedding cake. When I asked them if they made wedding cakes I was told that they do but have yet to make one. I decided to take a chance with them anyway and I am so glad I did... My cake was AWESOME AND DELICIOUS!!!! I had a rainbow wedding and cake it was so moist and beautiful. Every layer seemed as if it had its own flavor with cream cheese icing between each layer. Ms. Joanna and her Staff are just AWESOME!!!!!
