Logan's Roadhouse
Reviews
Everyone at Logan's does their very best to give customers satisfaction. the hostess tries to sit people as fast as possible, the servers do everything they can to make customers Happy, the cooks make delicious food, and the managers do their very best to keep everything functioning as one team. yes mistakes may be made for we are all human but they always make them right in the best way possible
Logan's Roadhouse on 2531 Broad Street, Sumter, SC. Do not offer any discount for Military members. Logan's is 3 miles away from Shaw Air Force Base. Why wouldn't you give discount to local Soldiers who protect this country and give their life. I am so disappointed with Logan's!!!!!!!!!!
Jim Turner, you could not be more wrong. I waitressed at this specific Logan's and it is not the servers job to wait on you, take a seat if you would like to be helped. There is one designated takeout person and Logan's is a very busy restaurant. Some restaurants have a 45 minute wait for people who do not CALL AHEAD OF TIME. If you want take out and you want it fast, please, call ahead. Logan's is a great restaurant. I'm sorry you were waiting and someone should have asked if you were being helped but if you have ever been a server you would understand how hectic and frustrating it can be and how fast paced we must be. Logan's food is wonderful and their staff are as sweet as can be, working alongside them and with our management was a pleasure. Just because you had to wait 10 minutes, should not have caused such a negative review, people are only human after all.
While staying at Candlewood Suites in Sumter, I walked next door to order carry-out from Logan's. After the hostess guided me to the take out area, I stood unattended for over 10 minutes while servers came and went, came and went, came and went -- all walking right past me without any regard. I finally had to ask for a menu, decided on my selections, and yet the servers acted as if I weren't even there. I placed the menu quite deliberately on the counter right next to the cash register, inches away from the oblivious server, and walked out. Still nobody said a word to me. FINE. I walked back to the hotel, hopped in my car and took my business just down the street to Outback Steakhouse. When I travel on expenses, I order quite a bit at supper and tip at least 50%. Well, guess who enjoyed my money tonight? NOT LOGANS!
If you want Brown lettuce for a salad, this is the place to go; for the rest of us, I'd go to Outback steakhouse. The only good thing is the Wait Staff.
