I love old places like this. If you're a snob who won't sleep on anything less than 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, then this place is not for you. But if you like local color, friendly people, and places where you can just kick back and relax, then this is a great place.

Anyone who goes through pumpkintown should stop and eat here. It might look like just an old general store but looks are deceiving. Their hamburgers are homeade and tasty. The hamburger steak with onions and gravy..dee-lish. Very friendly people AND the prices are beyond reasonable. I can't believe more people don't know about this place.
