Barefoot Barista

I go here at least once a week for their juice. I get a red juice and a green juice. I find both to be delicious and therapeutic. Yum, Yum. I also periodically stop for ice lattes. I enjoy the lattes and the laid back funky atmosphere. Sometimes on Sundays I will take my grandchildren for their Brunch buffet. The offerings are healthy and delicious. It is the only place that I know of at the beach to get fresh pressed juice. I recommend you giving it a try. John M Hilliard, III
Mothers Day Buffet was excellent! The Swedish pancake would have been worth the entire visit. Food was fresh, hot and excellent. Best food for all tastes. Busy, but Friendly and effecient! Don't miss this gem!
I will summarize this review by saying that my first and last experience here could not have been worse. This place is dirty, the barista I was served by was completely clueless, it is expensive, and they do not know how to make drinks properly. I walked into the establishment and first noticed the interesting decor and the dirty ceilings. I was asked what I wanted and noticed that there were no drink menus. I heard they had bubble tea and ordered 2 for my Fiance and Me. We asked what flavors they had and the barista said that she did not know. We asked for strawberry and peach with soy milk and she said they could do that. 10 minutes later she came out and said that she did not have strawberry. After she had to ask her manager what flavors they had we finally were able to order vanilla. As I watched her manager make the drinks I was literally shocked! They clearly used almond milk when we asked for soy. If we had nut allergies the experience literally could have been deadly for us. We finally got our “Bubble tea” 20 minutes later. It was not bubble tea. It was a half filled glass of blended up ice and almond milk with tapioca pearls on the bottom and with no straw. That is not bubble tea. Mine came out with syrup dripping down the side of the glass, which the barista clearly ignored. So we had no straws to suck up our tapioca with and our drinks did not seem to have any tea in them. Our bill came out to be $11, for 2 “bubble teas.” The barista could not find bubble tea on the cash register and charged us for lattes, and said “The price is the same.” I will never go here again. It was dirty, the barista did not know what drinks they had, how to make them, how long they would take to make, how to work the register, the difference between soy and almond milk (dangerous!), or how to wipe syrup off the glass she served to me. I cannot think of anything positive about my experience here.
