Great place! Offer a great variety of cupcakes, and other goodies. I definitely like that they are constantly adding new things to the menu--makes me want to keep coming back for more! Their buttercream icing is to die for! The Laurie (now offered on Wednesdays) is my absolute favorite. Definitely an unusual flavor pairing and truly unique. Also, named after one of their star workers--Laurie Crosswell. She, as well as the rest of the Sweet staff, are so very nice!!! Lovely people, and very pleasant to carry a conversation with. However, I have to give Sweet four stars because I feel that their prices are a little high after being open two years. I can understand setting prices high after just opening, but now that they're well-established, I think cutting prices would probably be more beneficial to business. Nothing I can't handle, but adjusting the price from $3.00 to $2.50 for a single cupcake would help a ton! Also, I've been in there before and have found that some of the macarons they sell have fallen. Which is okay, because macarons are tough to make (especially in humid South Carolina) but the fact that they continue to sell them at the same price makes me a little sad. They also occasionally offer happy hours with discounted cupcakes, "name of the day" free cupcakes, a reward card (or they did), and holiday specials so that makes me happy--follow them on Facebook because that's how I usually find out about them. Great place! Would recommend. :)
