Had lunch here on a beautiful day with friends and decided to have an appetizer, boneless buffalo tenders and a small order of fries, ($9.00 and $2.00 respectively). When order arrived I counted 7 french fries and four tenders that looked like the battered and frozen type. Not what I expected from a place like this. I ended up eating them and confirmed that these were probably a heated frozen food that I had difficulty cutting with the plastic knife they provided. Needless to say, I wasn't happy paying this much for something I could have gotten at Sam's club cheaper and more palatable and I expressed this very thing to the waitress who just smiled and replied, "Really?, I will get your checks." I expected a visit from the manager or consideration on the check but got the check with the full price for this garbage meal. I asked the waitress if she had heard what I had told her the first time and she just smiled and stated she was sorry, then walked away. Needless to say, I will not return here and didn't throw good money after bad by leaving a tip.
Very underwhelmed this time. :( Came all the way from West Coast for that famous Nantucket Scallop dish that I had last year while on vacation at the beach and learned they do not have it any longer. They've recently changed their menu. I ordered the fisherman platter and it was very hard to tell what seafood I was eating as all of the seafood was overcooked, very flavorless and dry. Food was not hot and clams were chewy. I felt I did the respectable thing and spoke privately to the host at the front desk as to not complain in front of the other 8 at our table. She was polite and thanked me for the feedback but there was nothing else done to ensure that we would return. I would hope this was just a bad night.
No complaints ever always great food!
Not worth it at all. In 14 years my wife never sent a plate back, until now. How do you make grilled shrimp and pasta inedible? My ribeye was beyond tough. The lobster mac and cheese had a great flavor but the lobster was pure rubber. Think tough octapus and double it.... not happy at all. Lobster bisque was massively over salted... Cannot recommend it....
Do not recommend going for Easter brunch. My family went this past Easter brunch (10 of us). We had reservations and we were seated right away. We did not have anyone come to our table for 20 min. and this was after we sought someone out to see if they'd take our drink order. We had a new waitress. Not uncommon for such a large event. So new, this waitress had us serve ourselves from her tray and she never checked on us. The food was fine. No complaints there. No one came to bus our old plates until they were 3 and 4 plates high. We had to seek someone out to refill our drinks. Oh and no free refills. We were not told that we would be charged for every drink. $63.00 for beverages alone (coffee and juice) seems a bit excessive. My husband called to put in a complaint (especially about the drink bill) The person he spoke to said "yes our waitress was new, but she was well trained; the drinks are usually refilled for free, but they tried something new this Easter and finally they couldn't care if they were given a bad review.
