My wife and I ate there Tuesday night. Its a nice log cabin like bar-restaurant. We sat down and the waitress walked by and said she would be right with us. We waited for ten minutes before she showed up. She didnt even offer to bring us drinks. We ordered our meals when she got there and then she brought our drinks, She apologized for taking so long to get there. Our food came in a reasonable amount of time and it was good. When we were finished she was no where to be found when we wanted our check. I finally spotted her over by the bar chatting with a customer and playing with her iphone. I had to go get her to get my check. She again apologized for not coming over sooner. My son came in the same night with his friends and had the same experience. He had to go get her to get his check. She said to him Oh you are finished already? That is my experience there.
We had heard so many good things, we had 2 try! Needless 2 say, we go almost every thurs. night! Want a nice place, good food, reasonably priced? Give it a try, you wont be sorry!
Great wings, hamburgers, chicken, tacos, fajitas and other bar type food. The atmosphere is family oriented and appropriate and non-smoking. There is a lovely deck above French Creek where patrons can smoke and enjoy the view if the wish. Great specials, steak night is Wednesday, a 10 oz. sirloin for a very low price. Wing specials are Tuesday and Sunday. Improvements would be an awning over the large deck. The salads are not great, just OK. Addition of caesar salad and more soups would be good. Generally a very pleasant environment, friendly, efficient staff and convenient location.
