Riverstone Inn

food is mediocre at best but being here for work for 6 weeks I'm still there a few times a week. the pot roast and Mac n cheese are the best things on the menu. the cooks cannot grill meat to temperature to save their lives. beer and booze however is relatively cheap and the atmosphere is nice. the wait staff are also nice but some of them need to find new professions. I give it three stars for the food cheap beer and the few things on the menu worth ordering.

In an area where you do not have much to choose from this place does stand out as a star among the less than average option near by. I ordered the Angus Bacon Cheese Burger and Onion Rings. I asked for the hamburger to be Medium and it was on the rare side, still cold in the middle. I would recommend The Riverstone because even though it is average by my standards it is far above anything else in the area with a price to match. For my meal with a drink it was $16.00 + Tip. I left a $20.00 as payment in full.

Upon walking in it actually looked like a nice place which is very surprising for this area. We ordered nachos, and and jalapeno poppers for an appatizer. Everything was covered in cheap nacho cheese/cheese wizz. For a 12 dollar plate of nachos I did not except to almost drown in fake cheese

My children and I were visiting my brother and Sister- in -law and decided to dine at the Riverstone. We have dined there often and my brother dines there at least 4 times per week. While we were enjoying our meal a customer who was obviously intoxicated came over to our table and engaged in a conversation with my sister in law, who was distressed by this as she did not know the man. The waitress had asked to leave us alone a few times but never got assistance in getting him to leave. My brother never said one word to the man but when my sister in law had said he needed to leave, the man came up to my brother and hit him in the head. We were mortified by this. My brother asked to speak to the manager and to call the police for the assult. The woman who was the manager that evening came up and said she reviewed the tape and said it didn't look like the intoxicated customer had hit my brother that hard! Never once apologizing or offering to comp our meal. When we left we were told she was told not to call the police. My family will never visit this establishment again.

Just not good. Had French onion soup taste like propane. A Rachel with rotten slaw on it. Like the atmosphere here and have tried half a dozen times to enjoy a meal here. Have given up.
