Pour Girls Restaurant & Bar
Reviews
This is my fifth time here. "Cookie", one of the waitresses, is awesome. I especially enjoyed the outdoor seating. The sandwiches are amazing! Everything is fresh. This place is one of the perks of living in the southern end. I have become a regular!
Pour Girls is one of those cool discoveries you can make in Lancaster county. Since I found it I've had consistently good dinners. Their ribeye steak is particularly excellent. It's in a pretty rural setting in a semi-formal renovated farmhouse. Bar atmosphere is fun, casual and they do live music on weekends. Menu pricing's about what you'd expect, overall very good value.
Let me start off by saying that I am not a disgruntled drunk. In fact this review is written after my last visit to Pour Girls in a professional capacity during which I had very little to drink. Never in my life have I been treated the way that I was treated by the staff at Pour Girls, especially the owner who acts like she is better than you (no matter who you are). The management clearly has no clue when it comes to the realities of running a successful restaurant/bar. Rude and unprofessional would be my first choices of adjectives to describe this place. Also, they have a seriously ridiculous identity crisis. They act like they are a fancy high end establishment, but then the service is horrible and they behave like rough necks. They claim to offer live music, but the structure of their building doesn't allow for sound control and they treat the band like criminals. If you aren't one of their regular customers, they treat you like a piece of crap. Don't expect to go to this place and have fun... They don't allow that! If you have anything more than one very overpriced drink an hour, they will flag you... Even if you aren't even remotely drunk (and you aren't driving)... Then the owner will attempt to publicly embarrass you (as she did to both me and my friend). Also, if you stand up for yourself as you are being publicly berated, the owner will encourage the regular customers to get in your face as you are getting ready to leave... She will also laugh as they physically assault you, as well. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. It's definitely not worth the absolute ridiculous drama.
Worst Bar/Restaurant in the World! If you want to over pay for cheap sandwiches and gross overpriced beer go to Pour Girls in Quarryville, PA. Aside from have a disgusting and unsanitary beverage system, their food is absolutely gross. Actually some of the worst I have ever had the displeasure of having eaten. Their sandwiches are comparable to the ones you might find in a truck stop vending machine. The owners and employees here are very amateur, they don't even have a drink menu. My waitress spilled half of my very overpriced drink I ordered on the floor her hands were shaking so bad. I felt so horrible that she was carrying out drinks and plates of food, she was obviously not capable of doing so, food spilled of the plates and I didn't want to pay another $10 for a spilled drink. I was extremely disappointed with this Bar/Restaurant, I will never be returning. The Bullfrog is right up the street.
