City Hotel Bar & Grill
Reviews
Horrible staff. Ordered two drinks from two different bar tenders and there was a dollar difference between the two. Their "best band" had no idea what an in tune instrument was or the words to half of the songs that they were playing
Hopefully the City Hotel Bar and Grill will be the beginning of the rebirth of the Northern Cambria area. Mr. Paterno has an abundance of quality ideas and has invested heavily in the City Hotel. It must be a labor of love and a leap of faith. From the reviews of the construction project it appears that he is not one to cut corners but will be going first class on quality of food and atmosphere. No more driving 30 miles at $3.30 per gallon to find good lodging and good food for friends and relatives who come to visit.
we stayed in a king size bed on the 2nd floor, at about 730am every morning we were able to hear everyone and everything going on on the first floor dining room. sleeping-in is impossible unless you have ear plugs and an eye mask because they also don't have curtains over the windows. on friday nights they have a live band that plays until a little after midnight in the dining room/bar, which needless to say, means you won't get any shut eye til around 1am. the staff is very friendly and the morning breakfast is good, although they didn't have any fruit available. they do have free wifi access. i don't think i would stay here again because i really need my sleep after long drives and it is impossible to get in this hotel.
One of the waitresses is always snotty and not nice she is older
