Service was poor. One waitress for 9 tables, with the bartender coming from behind the bar to help occasionally. "Friday fish fry" was frozen triangles of fish, with a tasteless batter.
I always enjoy eating or drinking at the Penny Bar. Albert is always a hoot and has great stories! My buddy has a cabin across the street, so this is very convenient for us, but we wouldn't go if the food and service wasn't excellent. It's in the middle of nowhere, but it's better than 90% of the restaurants around me! I'll be back, again and again!
A hidden treasure. GREAT FOOD! Lots of fun and a great atmosphere too. We are so glad Jody and Albert are back!
Small out in the middle of nowhere but food is awesome and service you couldn't ask for better people to be serving you!!!
