While we wouldn't normally eat at McDonalds at all, my family and I stopped at this establishment on 8/13/14 on our way home from a camping trip. We had with us 2 federally registered service dogs. Out dogs did not have their vests on, which I was told when registering my daughter's dog was NOT a requirement under the law, although it is advised, specifically for the reasons I am outlining here. The manager on duty asked us to leave because our dogs did not have vests. When I corrected her, she refused to listen, and a patron began to call us names, such as "brainless" and "stupid". While I admit that my family members overreacted in shock at how we were treated, we were totally compliant with the ADA service dog laws. This prejudice against the disabled was totally distasteful, and left my daughter and my niece in tears at the unfairness of it all. So don't bother going to this restaurant if you utilize a service animal. While our dogs didn't have their vests on, we did have their ID papers with us. The manager didn't even want to see them. She just told us to leave. Will never go to this store again, and I urge other disabled people to avoid this store as well!
Can hardly ever correctly get an order right. Every time we have to take something back. Maybe if they hired more people with english as a first language it would be better
Stayed in town @ RV park as my husband grew up in this town. His Grandfather did the masonry at the entrance of a public park & I wanted to take photographs, gather family history, etc. I have to say the poor reviews shock me. The night managers were nothing but especially helpful, staff very nice & food just as McDonald's is & should be! Given that they are open later than any other establishment that is family friendly alone earns them 5 stars with me... The night managers (Cory & a young lady whose name I did not catch), staff & overall quality put them over the top... 10 stars in my book. You little town folk don't realize how lucky you are! Give them credit they deserve! To all of you staff members working at night... GREAT JOB! & THANKS FOR YOUR HELPFULNESS!
Still a McDonald's, still in business. Average as far as McDonald's restaurants go.
