My family and I stayed at the Hood River Inn, and had dinner and then breakfast there before our day trip through the gorge. With our check-in, we received a complimentary breakfast coupon, as well as one for half off a dinner entre with purchase of another. Guests of the Inn should be aware that the breakfast coupon does not cover the full menu, and for example choosing French toast or orange juice means paying the full price yourself. The dinner menu for the adults was very adult with many sea food and pasta dishes. Having had seafood for lunch, my spouse and I felt like we had only a few choices. Most of the dishes sounded complicated and may not be to everyone's taste, but the food otherwise turned out just fine. My picky eight year old at was happy with his dinner at least. And we did have such a lovely view of the river at sunset. Breakfast was generally better for my spouse and I, though my son did not like the peppered bacon they used (it was tasty to me). And again there is that view....
Had dinner twice here this past weekend. Great service, amazing food, and very friendly waitstaff. Highly recommend Riverside, the garlic shrimp is one of the best meals I've ever had.
this is not an Italian place... it's the cebu/bamboo lounge in the Riverside hotel... at least now it is...
Hard to find on a map, unless you are staying at the hotel but has excellent food and service. Make sure to ask about the daily special!
Great views over the Columbia River. The service was only average but the food was quite good. If the weather is nice, make sure you dine outside.
