Gracie's Sea Hag
Reviews

A trip to the central Oregon coast wouldn't be complete without lunch or dinner from Gracie's Sea Hag. I was first introduced to Gracie's by my brother who swore by the Friday Night Seafood Buffet, and for many years it was the best value by miles. It's been a while since I had it, so I can't vouch for the selection anymore. What I can recommend is the Salmon and Halibut Braid, a delicious entree featuring the titular catch braided together with a bit of crab on top and all broiled to perfection. I always enjoy sitting in the lounge area where the atmosphere is ten times the restaurant dining room and you can enjoy the engaging live performing of Michael Dane and -- if you're lucky -- the bartender playing the bottles!

Amazing fish ( cod ) & chips! And the chowder is very good. you won't be dissatisfied!

I have driven by Gracie's Sea Hag restaurant countless times over the years, but never stopped in. I figured it was a run of the mill coastal tourist restaurants. Boy was I wrong! My wife and I were staying in Depoe Bay this week and went in because they were conveniently close, it was dinner time, and we were hungry. We both were surprised at how delicious the food was. In fact the clam chowder was the best we have ever had. We liked it so much that we returned two days later for lunch. Again the waitstaff was wonderful and the food was delicious. As an added bonus, one of the bartenders played a few tunes on the liquor bottles on the shelves. She was amazing! People got out of their seats and headed into the bar to watch her perform. I've posted a short video here.

Best seafood on the Oregon Coast!

Great service with a meal that you will remember. Their sea hag specials were great, oyster stew some of the best I have had, and the clam chowder is very good. Like any place in a tourist area the wait was awhile but they do a great job to get you in and served.
