Aspen Coffee Company Lakeview
Reviews
Aspen has POTENTIAL to create great coffee. Every time I have visited this establishment, my coffee is burnt, takes about 5 minutes to make, and 50% of the time as been erroneous. Someone needs to teach them that shots of espresso only last 23 seconds and need to be mixed immediately after being pulled. I have yet to find anywhere to get a great cup of espresso not only in Stillwater, but in Oklahoma in general. I would honestly rather go to Starbucks (which is saying a lot because Starbucks is terrible.) Other than the coffee, the employees are not the friendliest and are clearly not capable of customer service. The atmosphere is great, if only the coffee was better.
all three of the Aspen locations are wonderful! my favorite though, because it's close to my work, is the downtown location on 7th. they know me there, they are always kind and never get it wrong! thank you Aspen!
My favorite Aspen. Great staff, great drinks, great atmosphere.
Aspen baristas take the time to hand make drinks, unlike other corporate companies who have automated machines to pull espresso shots and steam milk. If you dont have the time to spare, go to the drive-thru at you-know-where. But if you want a locally roasted coffee and cookies/pastries made from scratch, Aspen is the place to go.
The frozen/ice drinks are not very good and for the price I'd rather head to Starbucks! Staff are just college kids who take their time and are less than helpful. I'm always up to support local but for this, I'll have to pass. Plus, my friend's latte took forever and was doused in creamer she didn't want.
